Our Craft
Tailored finishes for exceptional homes
From smooth walls to specialty plaster and cabinetry, every project begins with meticulous preparation and ends with a finish designed to last.
How we work
The SB Custom Paint Finish System
A lasting finish is built from the surface outward — not just applied from the paint can.
Surface Inspection
Moisture, adhesion problems, cracks, failed caulk and damaged materials are identified before the scope is finalized.
Protection
Floors, furniture, fixtures, landscaping and adjacent surfaces are protected according to the project.
Preparation
Patching, sanding, scraping, caulking and cleaning are completed before finish paint.
Correct Primer
Bare surfaces, stains, repairs and difficult substrates receive the primer specified in the written scope.
Premium Finish
The approved products, colors, sheens and coats are applied as described in the estimate.
Final Walkthrough
The completed work is reviewed with the customer and supported by the applicable 5-year written workmanship warranty.
Read bottom to top: step 1 is the substrate; step 6 is the finished surface you live with.
